Prayer for My Marriage

Heavenly Father, I come before You lifting up my marriage into Your mighty hands. You are the divine architect of marriage, and I thank You for joining us together as one flesh.

Lord Jesus, be the foundation and cornerstone of our marriage. I pray that our love would reflect Your sacrificial love for the church. Help us to honour our covenant, choosing to love one another unconditionally just as You have loved us.

Holy Spirit, fill our marriage with Your presence and power. Where there is hurt, bring healing. Where there is distance, restore intimacy. Where there is a misunderstanding, grant wisdom and clear communication. Let your fruits of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control flourish between us.

Father, I pray for spiritual unity in our marriage. Help us to grow together in faith, to pray together, to worship together, and to serve You together. May we be equally yoked, pulling in the same direction with shared purpose and vision.

Lord, protect our marriage from every attack of the enemy. I bind and cast out spirits of division, strife, unforgiveness, bitterness, and discord. No weapon formed against our marriage shall prosper. Guard our hearts, minds, eyes, and affections that we may remain faithful to one another.

I pray for deep emotional and physical intimacy. Help us to cherish one another, to speak words of life and affirmation, to be quick to forgive and slow to anger. May our love grow stronger and deeper with each passing day.

Holy Spirit, give us wisdom in handling our finances, raising our children, making decisions, and navigating life’s challenges together. Help us to prefer one another in love, to serve one another with joy, and to build each other up in faith.
